Benson back in the NFC North?

There’s a rumor picking up intensity that Cedric Benson could sign with the Detroit Lions soon. According to the Detroit Free Press, Austin, Texas, city council member Mike Martinez says Benson is about to sign with the team.

I’m sure there are several Bears defenders who would love the idea of facing Benson twice a year so they can hit him without fear of retribution from the coaching staff.
