The Bears Beat (01.20.12): Bears interview last of suspected candidates for GM

The Bears interviewed Kansas City Chiefs director of college scouting Phil Emery, a one-time Bears scout, for their general manager opening. Barring any last-minute surprises, Emery was the last of the candidates the Bears are expected to interview for the position. Also, Donovan McNabb said he expected the Bears to call him for a tryout after he was released from the Vikings and Jay Cutler suffered an injury.
