Saints trade Jimmy Graham to Seahawks

The New Orleans Saints and Seattle Seahawks have agreed to a blockbuster trade near the outset of free agency involving three-time Pro Bowl tight end Jimmy Graham.

Seattle will acquire Graham plus a fourth-round pick for center Max Unger and their 31st overall selection in April’s upcoming draft.

The deal is an intriguing one for both teams given how important Graham was to the Saints’ offense. But it now gives the defending NFC champions and quarterback Russell Wilson a much better receiving threat than they’ve previously had.

I’m curious what input Bears general manager Ryan Pace would have had on the deal had he still been in New Orleans.
