Bears record 170 penalty yards, 35 more net yards than Cardinals

The Bears tied a franchise record with 170 penalty yards in Sunday’s 48-23 blowout loss to the Cardinals, and yet still managed to gain 35 more net yards than the Cardinals. You can credit a few pass interference penalties for that skewed statistics, as the Cardinals were gifted good field position on more than one occasion by the Bears’ beleaguered secondary.
