Mike Singletary interviewing for Giants linebackers coach

According to the New York Daily News, former Bears linebacker Mike Singletary reportedly is interviewing with the New York Giants for their vacant linebackers coach position on new head coach Ben McAdoo’s staff.

Singletary landed a head coaching gig with the San Francisco 49ers from 2009-2010 before being dismissed after the 2010 season. After that, he latched on with the Minnesota Vikings as the team’s linebackers coach and assistant to the head coach from 2011-2013, but has not been in the NFL since.
